When you travel to remote Alaska, you have to change your expectations on what you’ll find. Lake Louise Lodge far exceeded our expectations! The lodge is beautiful and sits right on Lake Louise. The lake views are breathtaking from the lodge and our rooms! The food is good and homecooked. The staff is super friendly and fun to interact with. This is a true family run operation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Absolutely beautiful stay. My husband and I came to stay for three days to celebrate our friends birthday. We stayed at the lodge and it was perfect. The room was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast delicious, and the local lake residents were very friendly. The new owners are doing an amazing job keeping this beautiful place going!

My boyfriend, myself, and our two dogs stayed for two nights over the 4th of July weekend in the dry cabin. We arrived strangers and left feeling like we were part of a new family! The staff here are some of the kindest people we have met in Alaska. The dry cabin is cozy, adorable and was just the right size for two people and two dogs. The bathrooms and showers were available 24 hours a day just a short walk across the way and were very clean! The restaurant is super yummy and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is included in your stay-there’s a small menu with four items and includes coffee 🙂 We were SO bummed the dry cabin was booked after our planned checkout because we would have loved to have stayed another night or two. Thank you Mary, Chelsea and Jordan for your kindness!

The staff was very nice and accomadatingThe road back in off Hwy 1 is kind of rough for the first half, you could only go about 30 to 35 max or your trailer tires were off the pavement so plan extra time and be safe. We saw a few caribou and hunters on the way in also. Fishing was slow but the lake was calm in the morning.

We spent one night here in a lake view room. Beautiful scenery! Lake Louise Lodge has a dining area and bar. Meals can be purchased here. I enjoyed the Susitna Burger and Ham and Bean soup. The free continental breakfast menu has four choices. No smoking or cooking in room. I would stay here again!
